The Moving Type

The Moving Type is a collaborative writing project that aims to create the world's largest co-authored fiction story. It began with an initial chapter, and writers worldwide are invited to submit subsequent chapters, each ranging from 500 to 1,000 words. Each chapter is authored by a different writer, with new chapters published weekly. The project culminated in a published book featuring contributions from 122 authors and illustrators globally, setting a Guinness World Record for the most contributions to a published work of fiction. Proceeds from the book sales are donated to charity.
